How We Can Help with Home Safety

Save money and get priority service with
The Nebrasky Home Care Club
Whenever we visit your home, we come armed with more than just our plumber's tools and booties. We also bring the SafeGuard safety checklist, which covers several potential hazards in the home. We've put all of our technicians through the SafeGuard training program, which shows plumbing professionals how to spot and eliminate potential dangers in the home such as excessively hot water, flammable vapor ignition and carbon monoxide leakage. After servicing or installing a water heater, Nebrasky technicians will test your hot water temperature, free of charge, to make sure it does not exceed 120 degrees, the maximum to prevent scalds or burns. If the water temperature is too high, our technician will either lower it to a safer level or discuss other options with you.
Next, the technician will review with you both the warning label attached to the hot water heater and the SafeGuard safety checklist. These materials warn about the fire hazard caused by invisible vapors from gasoline and other flammable liquids. Finally, our technician will test and inspect your boiler for carbon monoxide leakage, another hazard that you can't see. All of these safety-related services are just part of our overall effort to keep you safe and comfortable in your home, and they're all absolutely free.
